ZARA AUTUMN MUST HAVES

Anyone else just LOVE Autumn fashion? I am always in love with Fall Collections, maybe it's the hype of fashion week or the transition from light jackets to wooly jumpers.. whatever it is I LOVE IT! I think Autumn gives you the chance to play with prints and different textures. You can take risks or go with the classic black blazer and always be bang on trend. Here are a few of my must have pieces for this Autumn.

This may not be for everyone but I think everyone needs to go out of their comfort zone with fashion once in awhile, thats the fun of it. I absolutely adore this ZARA tweed suit, it's just screams CHANEL! I think it looks so expensive and luxurious. I would wear this to an interview as it would be refreshing change from the all black look we usually gravitate towards.

This coat is the perfect staple piece for your autumn wardrobe. It could be thrown over any colour and transform any outfit from casual to stylish. It is the perfect shade of beige for denim and blacks.

This coat is perfect for someone who is on the go and need something they can throw on and know they'll be toasty warm. It is both bang on trend with the fur collar and very practical for all weather conditions. The only drawback is the fact that it doesn't have a hood. Other than that this is the perfect lightweight jacket to take you into Winter.

This can take any outfit from day time to night time. It is such a staple item to have in your wardrobe. I have these in every colour, they are so easy to pair with skinny black jeans and heels or a jumper and boots. These blazers are very light so probably won't offer you much warmth on a cold winter night but ooze class and sophistication.

This season the trend is to 'oversize it'. I've always been a fan of the over-sized blazer and coat but I am really in love with this ZARA blouse. It would be perfect under a blazer with boots and denim skinny jeans. It really is so classic and could be paired with cigarette trousers for a sophisticated work look.

This really is one of the most important pieces in your winter wardrobe. It is so important that you find a pair that you feel comfortable in and that will match all of your A/W pieces. I love getting two different colours in a winter boot. The obvious choice is black and then maybe mix it up with a burgundy/dark green or brown (always comes in handy).

7. A bag for everything
Any one else a bagaholic? You can never really have enough. I absolutely love ZARA's bag collection, it is so expensive looking. Each piece is beautifully crafted, any of these could have came from a high end designer. The beauty of a bag is that it can add a pop of colour to your outfit or a simply cross body bag could create the casual off-duty model look. I adore the black leather chain cross body bags because they will always be in style. You could wear them during the day or with a dress and heels. They are especially handy for travelling as you can fit plenty in them without them being too cumbersome. Any of these bags would be the perfect gift for someone who loves expensive bags at half the price.

8. Metallics
If there is anything that is making a comeback this year it is metallics. When I was in Milan every shop had a metallic feature. It is so wearable yet so dressy. You could pair a gold metallic skirt with black tights and a jumper or you could wear the pink metallic skirt below with a crop top for any night out. Metallics are so eye-catching, they are so fun and fresh. They can be worn by any age to brighten up any outfit. Get excited about this trend because as usual with these kinds of fads it won't be there forever.

Accessories can often be forgotten about in our shopping basket, but they can transform so many outfits. Like a black buckled belt can take an outfit from plain to super stylish. I love a black buckled belt with a blazer and skinny jeans. A staple A/W piece is a scarf, it is so important to find one that is comfortable, warm and of course fashionable. I am loving chokers these days but can understand why some people are apprehensive about them. A great way to ease yourself into the trend is this diamond choker for a night out. An alternative is also the shoelace necklace which is F A B!

I think dresses are the handiest thing to have in your wardrobe. You don't have much to worry about when it comes to making them fashionable. You can wear tights or a plain white t-shirt underneath to dress them down or an oversized blazer for a night time look. You can play with different prints, colours and textures to ensure your bang on trend. Leather dresses are fantastic for winter because they are both warm and dressy.

I hope you enjoy this ZARA editorial. Let me know what you think, any feedback is appreciated.

Love, Kate x
